AARJAY INTERNATIONAL PVT LTD was founded on 01 July 1992 as a marketing associate of ELKAY INTERNATIONAL INC (USA). These two organisations form a unified operational group, playing specific roles to meet an operational objective

AARJAY works in tandem with Elkay International in achieving this objective.

While AARJAY works closely with clients in India to identify their needs and propose component solutions, ELKAY co-ordinates with the principals (in USA/EUROPE/FAR EAST) to source and ship the parts. AARJAY/ELKAY are working towards expanding the customer-base in India and becoming a market leader in the electronics trade and representation area.

While freelance purchasing in the world market is eminently suited to meet the small adhoc requirements of the Indian market, AARJAY/ELKAY feel the need to tie-up with committed manufacturers to meet the larger and long term requirement of the customers.

The most significant aspect of these operations is that they are PROACTIVE in nature and not reactive. We identify new projects and market opportunities systematically and approach clients with suitable products and solutions.

In order to address the technical aspects of the business we have an APPLICATION ENGINEERING CELL. The Application cell constantly works on designing-in our products into new projects. The clients feel comfortable with a local support and that too a near total support for all critical component needs.

We promote only one source per product range. AARJAY/ELKAY works closely with the principal so as to be in a position to advise the customers regarding product selection and application. We provide after-sales-services to customers.

We have structured our organization in such a way as to address the geographical needs of the territory, in having sales offices in different cities, in India. AARJAY has three strategically located offices at BANGALORE, HYDERABAD and NEW DELHI. These three cities form the nodal points around which the target industry is located in India.

ELKAY has offices located at New Jersey (USA), at Leiden (near Amsterdam) in the Netherlands and at Hongkong. These three offices coordinate operations from the USA, EUROPE & FAR EAST based principals

AARJAY/ELKAY are promoted and run by a group of professionals with good technical and management background. This sets the right atmosphere for dynamic operation and willingness to change operational strategies to suit the environmental needs.

AARJAY is promoted and headed by P.K. Ramachandran, an engineer who graduated with honors in "Electronics" from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras - a top-notch school in India. In addition, he has an MBA from another top school in business.

Ramachandran brings with him over 25 years of the most appropriate experience in electronics trading, consultancy and project execution. He has a near total knowledge of the electronics scene in India, the future plans, the Government policies and procedures. He is also known to many of the important decision-makers in the electronics industry in the country. Such a combination of qualification, experience and exposure greatly helps in charting a stable and steady growth in operation.

Ramachandran is supported by a team of SALES ENGINEERS, and a group of APPPLICATION ENGINEERS who have all graduated from well known Engineering Schools. The sales people are supported by a team of Application Engineers, who have in-depth knowledge of the products and their respective applications.

ELKAY is headed by T.V.Krishna, who too is an engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) and an MBA.

Krishna migrated to the USA in the early 1980's. Ever since, He has been sourcing electronic components from various US companies. His knowledge of the Indian operational and market conditions coupled with his presence in the USA and his knowledge of the American ethos, makes him eminently suited to interact with the U.S. industry who wish to sell to India.
